10 Great Online Places For Green Crafters
Earth Day just came and went, and spring is upon us, making me think of cleaning, gardening, and a brand new round of springtime crafts for those days full of April showers. What better way to celebrate spring than crafting green? Here are 10 great sites to help you find ideas.

Crafting a Green World
This is just an overall great site. The design makes it a pleasure to browse, and it features some fantastic green crafting ideas, complete with big, colorful photographs. You can find ideas, submit your own, and interact with other readers.
Green Crafts
Blog with mostly paper print-outs and Christian themed crafts, but non-religious crafters can find some links to good ideas here, too. I particularly liked the DIY Green Furniture Crafts.
Planet Green
HUGE list of some great Eco-friendly crafts. Find projects like this funky necklace or these great teacup bangles.
Eco-Artware.com
Eco-Artware.com is actually a craft shop front, but it has some great crafts to browse and find ideas from. I particularly liked the safety pin bracelet. The clock ideas are fantastic, too.
Care2
Big list of green crafts, craft contests, and articles. You’ll find great kids crafts here, too.
kids-going-green.com
Nice list of kid-friendly green craft ideas. The recycled scarecrow looks like lots of fun to make no matter how old you are.
WordPress.com
Yes, I know–WordPress.com is not a green crafting site. However, they have a number of blogs with good craft ideas. I loved the Bamboo Sushi Maki Vase . Be sure to check out other blog directories, too.
MakingFriends.com
Another kids site with some great crafting projects. Site has clear instructions and photos. Be sure to check out the recycled jars page . (I remember making the wishing well as a child. I still have it around here somewhere.)
Yes, there are only 8 places listed. Did you notice? XD
